POSITION OVERVIEW
High performing, full-service Advertising Agency in Palm Desert is seeking a dynamic Web Developer who is responsible for building and maintaining websites as well as HTML eblasts that are delegated by the Director of Web Development. Web Developers work with Web Designers to build accurate original websites that meet and exceed client expectations. They write quality markup and code that is to the standards and best practices adopted for the Web Department by the Director. Web Developers write quality standards-based code and accept and execute input from Senior Web Developers and the Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform the duties of this position, the individual must perform all described duties as well as possess a high level of organization. They must possess skills to complete production website and digital tasks with proficiency and quality. Web Developers are ready and willing to assist other team members when needed. - 3+ years of HTML (with HTML5 experience), CSS, jQuery/Bootstrap, and JSON are essential
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design and layout tools.
- Proficient understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Mobile development and cross browser support experience a must.
- Knowledge of ASP.NET, Silverlight, SQL, high-level scripting languages, version-control, or CMS systems a plus.
- Experience with client/server networking and audio/video streaming a plus.
- Good knowledge of ad serving platforms including Sizmek and DoubleClick.
- Experience programming with 3D and other frameworks a plus.
- Familiar with Creative Suite.
- Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Patient and persistent.
- Thorough and detail oriented.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL / OTHER SKILLS / LICENSES
Working knowledge of computers and most commonly used business software, to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of digital analytics and KPIs.
Since driving a vehicle during the scope of employment is necessary, candidate should possess a valid California driver’s license and carry automobile liability insurance that meets or exceeds State requirements. A clear Motor Vehicle Record is required. Updated MVR’s may be periodically collected.
Thorough understanding of graphic design, video production the digital landscape and creative process. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with clients. Ability to travel, if necessary, to client meetings, trade shows and other events. Displays professional conduct within and outside office when conducting agency business. Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
